2014 was a personal experiment for me. I had just returned to the United States after living for four years post-university in Japan. Believing fully that there are no set musts or deadlines for how one must live this life, I decided to intentionally spend the year without a home, moving about, sharing/learning from others, and playing shows along the way.
The year started off with three months in Asheville, North Carolina . . .
. . . and ended in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The time in between found me playing anywhere from the House of Blues in Los Angeles to busking for a week in Vegas, all the while witnessing the varied beauty the United States has to offer.
Lots of stories. Lots of people. Lots of new perspectives and ways of thinking. And in turn, new songs.
